Though I am 24 now, my belief in Santa Claus is still there. Every year, on the Christmas eve, I tie a pair of socks to the Christmas tree and ask old pal Santa to fulfill my wishes. Now please do not laugh on me. I know it is really kiddish on my part, but there are several people out there, who do so. Anyways, I do not know if my parents do it or its Santa, but when I wake up the next day, a gift awaits me.
It is not unknown that Christmas is the festival of gifts and people began to plan what they would gift their near and dear ones, way in advance. And this is not something that has started of lately.
